Everything Reflex can do.

Reflex pairs your autonomy stack with an ACI model, whatever runs the machine: a VLA, an MPC, an autopilot, a PLC program or an AI agent. Here is everything the combination does, in 40 capabilities and six groups.

Learns on the spot

7

It learns fast and on the spot, on the device: one example is enough, and the lesson carries to cases like it.

Step 1 of 5: Once

Shown once how to lift a new crate, the robot learns it on the spot.

  1. 1One example is enough

Reflex learns from a single example, on the device, with no training run.

Your machine takes on a new case the day it meets it, with no data to collect and no retraining.

    See it at work →
  2. 2Every deferral teaches it

What your stack or your operator did with a call Reflex deferred becomes something it knows.

A call it defers today is one it can take itself next time.

    See it at work →
  3. 3One correction is enough

When your operator corrects a call, Reflex learns from that one correction, there and then.

Fix it once, and the next case like it goes the right way.

    See it at work →
  4. 4The lesson carries

A lesson learned on one case carries to the cases like it.

One example covers a family of moments, not just the one it came from.

  5. 5Asks for the example that settles it

When it is unsure, Reflex can say which one example would settle the doubt.

Your team shows it one thing, not everything.

  6. 6Any lesson can be undone

Any lesson Reflex learned can be taken back exactly, on its own.

Undo one lesson, and everything else stays as it was.

    See it at work →
  7. 7Shared when you choose

When you choose, a skill learned on one machine can be shared with others like it.

Teach it once, and the machines like it can have it too.

Plans and simulates

6

It plans to the goal over what it has actually seen, simulates each move before it makes it, and plans again when the world changes.

Step 1 of 5: The goal

Your mission sets the rover a goal: resupply the north camp.

  1. 8Plans to the goal

Given a goal, Reflex plans the way there over what the machine has actually seen.

Plans that rest on what your machine has been through, not on guesswork.

  2. 9Chooses the skills that get there

Reflex chooses the skills that reach the goal, in turn, from what your stack can already do.

Work of many steps, built from what your machine already knows how to do.

  3. 10Plans again when the world changes

When something moves, closes or gives way, Reflex plans again from where the machine is.

A blocked way means a new plan, not a stopped mission.

    See it at work →
  4. 11Simulates each move first

Before it moves, Reflex simulates what each command will do, on the device.

A wrong move shows up before your machine makes it.

  5. 12Sees when a plan will not get there

Reflex can tell when an attempt is not going to finish.

It changes course early, instead of finding out at the end.

  6. 13Works to your goals

Reflex plans to the goals your mission sets, and to a new goal the moment you change it.

Change the goal mid-run, and the plan follows.

Decides

7

It decides in the moment, on the device: what to do, which skill to run and when to defer.

Step 1 of 5: Knows it

A buoy the vessel passes every day: Reflex knows it, and has the autopilot steer round it.

  1. 14Decides in the moment

When Reflex knows the case, it makes the call on the spot, on the device.

No wait for a link, a person or a cloud: the machine acts while the moment lasts.

    See it at work →
  2. 15Chooses the skill

Reflex chooses the skill that fits the moment, from everything your stack can do.

The right skill for the task in front of the machine, chosen where the machine is.

  3. 16Knows what it has not seen

Reflex tells a case it knows from one it has never met.

Something new is treated as new, never forced into the nearest thing it knows.

    See it at work →
  4. 17Defers to the right place

When it does not know, Reflex hands the call to your stack or to your operator, whichever should take it.

Every doubtful call lands with someone who can settle it.

    See it at work →
  5. 18Calls kept for a person

Some calls always go to your operator, however sure Reflex is.

The calls that matter most to you stay with a person.

  6. 19Autonomy that grows with trust

How much Reflex decides alone is a setting, and turning it up is an authorised, logged act.

Start with most calls deferred, and give it more as it earns your trust.

    See it at work →
  7. 20Every decision on record

Every decision goes on record with its reasons, and with who or what made it.

You can always see what it decided, and why.

Acts through the gate

7

It acts through your stack: it picks the skill, sends each command through the gate, checks that it worked and defers when it did not.

Step 1 of 5: Picks

A tray arrives, and Reflex picks the skill that fits: stack it.

  1. 21Acts through your stack

What Reflex decides is carried out by your stack, the way it always runs the machine.

Nothing about how your machine moves has to change.

    See it at work →
  2. 22Stopped at the gate

A command that fails your rules never runs, however sure Reflex is of it.

Your rules hold at the last step, before anything moves.

    See it at work →
  3. 23Rules tightened while it runs

You can add or tighten a rule while the machine runs, and the gate holds to it from then on.

No stop, no restart and no update to roll out.

  4. 24Checks that it worked

After it acts, Reflex checks the result against the goal.

A task that did not work is never counted as done.

    See it at work →
  5. 25Defers when it did not work

When a command did not do what it should, Reflex hands back to your stack or your operator.

The machine carries on, and Reflex learns from what happened next.

  6. 26Leaves your stack as it is

It starts from everything your stack can already do, and leaves your stack as it is.

No retraining and no rewrite of what you already run.

    See it at work →
  7. 27Above your safety systems

Reflex sits above your certified safety controllers and interlocks, never in their place.

Your safety systems keep the last word.

    See it at work →

Five guarantees

5

Five guarantees, on every machine, whatever runs it.

Step 1 of 5: The gate

On an arm run by a VLA, every command passes the gate before anything moves.

  1. 28Every command that acts passes the gate

Before anything moves, switches, opens or sends, Reflex checks the command against your rules. What fails does not run.

Nothing your rules forbid ever reaches the machine.

    See it at work →
  2. 29Safety rules loosen only through an authorised, logged act

Learning never loosens a rule, and neither does time. Loosening one takes an authorised act, and that act is logged.

Your rules stay where you set them, until someone with the authority changes them, on record.

    See it at work →
  3. 30Every change is attributable and reversible

Every change to a rule, a limit or what it has learned shows who or what made it, and when, and any of them can be undone.

You can always say what changed and who changed it, and put it back.

    See it at work →
  4. 31Learning stays on the device, bounded, with no network

It learns on the spot, on the machine itself, inside the bounds you set. No network, no cloud, no training run.

What it learns is yours, and it never leaves the machine.

    See it at work →
  5. 32“Unknown” means defer, not guess

When it meets something it does not know, it hands the call to your stack or your operator. It never guesses.

Your machine never bets on a case it has not seen.

    See it at work →

Runs on the device

8

It runs on the device, any device: on CPU, with no GPU, no cloud and no connection needed.

Step 1 of 5: CPU

Reflex runs on the processor the device already has, on CPU.

  1. 33Any device

Reflex is device agnostic: it runs on the processors your machines already carry.

The same Reflex on a controller, a smart camera, an arm, a drone or a vessel.

    See it at work →
  2. 34On CPU, no GPU

Reflex runs on CPU, with no GPU of its own.

Machines with no GPU on board can run it, and any accelerator stays free for your stack.

  3. 35No cloud

Reflex learns, plans, simulates, decides and acts on the device, with no cloud behind it.

Nothing has to leave the machine for it to work.

  4. 36Offline and air-gapped

Reflex works offline and air-gapped, with no network needed.

It keeps working out of range, under water and between passes.

    See it at work →
  5. 37Never phones home

    Reflex never phones home.

Nothing about your machines or your missions reaches us.

  6. 38A licence that works offline

The Reflex licence works offline too.

A machine out of reach for weeks keeps working.

  7. 39What it learns is yours

Everything Reflex learns stays on your machines, under your control.

Nothing it learned is sent to us, or anywhere else.

  8. 40One machine, or a fleet

Across a fleet, each machine decides on board and keeps its own rules, and a fleet centre sends each task to the machine best suited to it.

One machine or many, each decides for itself, link or no link.

    See it at work →

The same capabilities on every machine.

Edge devices and robots, on land, in the air, at sea, under water, in orbit and in industry: whatever runs the machine, Reflex learns, plans, simulates, decides and acts on the device, and the five guarantees hold.

Step 1 of 6: In a plant

On a controller in a plant, it decides on the spot, beside the PLC program.
